When you think about Salt Lake City, hip-hop is hardly what comes to mind first. GeorgeLife would like to change that. The rapper from the Beehive State sounds like his high-school years were spent listening to Atmosphere’s Slug, Brother Ali and maybe even a bit of Tupac thrown in.
GeorgeLife made his first appearances in Idaho playing clubs in Pocatello and Idaho Falls. He found fans in Boise while playing the Promenade Music Festival last year and again this year at the Spring Boise Hip Hop Fest, when he opened for Canadian super group Sweatshop Union.
