The first time I heard Lightning Bolt was the closest experience I've ever had to the old Maxell commercial. I took two steps back from the sheer force of the sound, then took a moment to process things before attempting to move.
Music should always be that intense an experience.
Lightning Bolt is in town tonight to play with The Maladroids and Wizard Rifle at the Myrtle Morgue. If you're even remotely into hardcore, there is no excuse to be anywhere else tonight.
Show starts at 7 p.m. and costs $8.
