Need Something To Do Tuesday?

The Ides of March dance party at the Linen Building tonight is a celebration of the spring equinox and the renewal and rebirth that spring brings with it.

It can also be considered a pre-St. Patrick’s Day warm-up, considering the Celtic/folk duo The Hollands—from Wisconsin-via-Australia—are headlining. Rumor has it that you won’t be able to keep from joining in and singing along and feeling like you are part of the band. Add music from locals Hillfolk Noir, Shipshape, James Coberly Smith, Tim Andreae, Country Club and Reilly Coyote to the mix and you’re in for a foot-stomping good time.

Beware the Ides of March—but only because the next day is a school day.

As usual, Pie Hole will be serving up slices and there will be a full bar for those with ID. The festivities commence at 6 p.m., and families are welcome to purchase a family pass for $15 at the door. Student admission is $3, adults pay $5.
