To celebrate Winter Trails Day, Boiseans can partake in a free guided showshoe nature walk at Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area, Saturday, Jan.8 at noon.
From the press release:
The snowshoe walk begins at the Bogus Basin Nordic center (Frontier Point Lodge) and lasts approximately two hours on moderately steep terrain.
The walk is free and open to the public, but participants will need to purchase a snowshoe trail pass unless they have a Nordic season pass. No pre-registration is necessary.
Snowshoes can be rented if necessary at the Nordic Center or in town.
