When we wrote about Twiztid coming to town in March of this year, we reminded readers that the "Detroit duo of Jamie Madrox and Monoxide followed in the giant footsteps of mentors Insane Clown Posse. ICP followers—called Juggalos—are Twiztid's fan base as well."

Lately, the Juggalos themselves have been making headlines. The star-for-no-discernible-reason, Tila Tequila, was pelted with trash during her performance at the 11th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos (a four-day music fest starring ICP). At the same event, rapper Method Man was nailed in the head by a fast-flying beer can and rapper Coolio's ICP Hatchet Man logo with "Jugalo Cool" written underneath made Internet headlines because of the misspelling (and because the deep red color looks like infection, not ink). In a September issue of the The Village Voice, ICP/The Gathering was the cover story.

Tickets for Twiztid and special guest Blaze go on sale Saturday, Sept. 25 at 10 a.m. They are $17 adv., $19 day of show and are available at the Record Exchange or online at ticketfly.com or knittingfactory.com.
