DOMA Denies Green Card for Legally Married Gays

In the debate about gay marriage, we've heard a lot about visitation rights. But the issue is far broader than that, so much so that it's hard to even conceive of the issue as a whole when it isn't something you have to face daily. This is a heartbreaking angle I'd never even considered. A gay couple married in Germany, one German and one American, aren't legally allowed to be in the same country because of DOMA. But if they were willing to pay $100,000 on the other hand...
