Black and White Photo Time

Some people see the world through rose-colored glasses, and some have long lists of regrets after strapping on a pair of beer goggles, but around here, we like the view through a camera lens. Specifically, we like it in black-and-white.

That's right, it's once again time for photobugs to do their best black and white work for Boise Weekly's annual Black and White Photo Contest. Everyone from casual clickers to professional photogs are encouraged to show off their best work for the chance to win fame, glory and a little bit of cash. The grand prize-winning photo will also grace the cover of the July 7 edition of Boise Weekly.

But glory doesn't come to those who wait. You've only got until Wednesday, June 30 to get your entries in. All photos must be in our office (523 Broad St.) by no later than 5 p.m.

You can enter as many images as you want in three categories—people, places or things—as long as they each come with the $5 per photo entry fee, and have the photographer's name, address and phone number on the back. All photos must be at least 8 inches on one side, and be mounted on 16-inch by 20-inch mat board.
