I often hear from visiting bands that Boiseans are wont to sit through a concert rather than get up and shake their groove things. Sometimes that's true, but that was so not the case on Saturday at The Bouquet when Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars performed.
The eight-member band played a rousing and awe-inspiring combination of reggae, ragga, Afro-pop and hip-hop, employing a groovy combination of electric guitars, bass, drums, keyboard and traditional African percussion.
Here, Black Nature (the group's youngest member) cuts loose and the crowd is more than happy to do the same.
