Bill Maher, comedian and host of HBO's Real Time, may have best summarized the feelings of the American left in a recent tweet: "Every asshole who ever chanted 'Drill Baby Drill' should have to report to the Gulf Coast today for cleanup duty."
And while that's a nice thought, it's not gonna happen.
But if you'd like to keep up on what's actually happening cleanupwise, especially, in the wake of news that region is facing another record-breaking hurricane season, which could then worsen the effects of the oil spill, there's a pretty cool way to do with marinetraffic.com.
The site tracks the movements of ships in real time on an interactive map, which is a pretty fascinating way to see how the cleanup is being approached. Just remember to take a break to tweet out zingers now and then while you're at it.
