Sad news for those of you looking forward to a fatty slice of ’90s nostalgia pizza, the M.C. Hammer and Vanilla Ice reunion show on Nov. 14 in Idaho Falls has once again been cancelled. This obviously-too-good-to-be-true showdown was originally slated to go down on June 6, but was rescheduled for unspecified reasons.
This time around, rescheduling doesn’t look likely. Red Tie Concerts laments on their Web site that “It is always unfortunate when these things happen” and says fans who already purchased tickets have two options: “Hold on to your ticket(s) to exchange for any 2010 Red Tie concert” or “receive a full refund at CD World between November 15th and November 30th. ‘COMP’ tickets will not be refunded.”
Though flashy ‘90s rap aficionados might be crying in their parachute pants as we speak, this whole mess proves one thing for certain: M.C. Hammer is not, infact, too legit to quit. Word to your mother.
