Yesterday afternoon, hordes of Hillfolk Noir and Jeremiah James fans handed over their shivs and ten bones to Old Idaho State Penitentiary guards and let themselves be locked up in the name of rock and roll.
Once on the inside, attendees shuffled into Cell Block C to listen as Hillfolk Noir recorded an eerie live album. Shortly thereafter, of-agers grabbed cold brews and bundled up under blankets in the courtyard to watch the Jeremiah James Gang bust out country jams and situationally appropriate, Folsom Prison Blues covers.
We donned our striped suits to grab a few photos for your voyeuristic viewing pleasure.
