And we were just running out of flouncy blouses!
Idaho is about to get its first Anthropologie
store, right here in the City of Trees.
The store will be on Idaho Street between 8th and 9th.
We'd heard word from DBA
, but got it confirmed by the Chicago commercial real estate firm Baum Realty Group
which, it turns out, owns a bit of Boise.
They say the 9,000-foot store will be open by the end of the year.
The latest Anthropologie store will sell the deceptively casual women's clothing, funky jewelry
and neo-garage-sale home pieces
that the chain is known for.
Also, bulletin: That area where the store is? No, it's not "Idaho Street," silly! It's "Block 44," okay?
Block 44 is also home to Grape Escape, the Lux on 9th, and See Jane Run.
We are very excited to announce the addition of Anthropologie to Boise, said David Baum, president of Baum Development, which acquired ownership of Block 44 in 2006. Anthropologie will complement other Block 44 tenants perfectly and paves the way for other national retailers to enter the Boise market
Now, if only we knew where the other 43 blocks are....
