Eastern Idaho health officials are warning that customers of a Papa Murphy's pizzeria may have been exposed to hepatitis A.
Southeastern Idaho Public Health announced late Friday that an employee of Papa Murphy's in Chubbock tested positive for hepatitis A on May 2. Customers who patronized that location April 19-21 may have been exposed to the virus.
The health department said that anyone who ate uncooked food, such as uncooked pizza toppings or salads at the Chubbuck restaurant, and are not immunized against hepatitis A, should receive a vaccine or immune globulin immediately. The department will hold vaccine clinics today. No illnesses have been reported to date.
