Video: Rude Gestures Around the World



The South Korean press went nuts earlier this week when Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates shook the hand of President Park Geun-Hye with one hand in his pocket. The picture exploded to social media throughout the Far East, dubbing the greeting as disrespectful.

South Korea—a deeply hierarchical, Confucian society where etiquette has tremendous significance—is particularly sensitive to any perceived slight to its national pride.
