UPDATE: Boise Man Charged In Murder of His Wife

UPDATE 1 p.m.

Bruce Macomb, 62, is charged with First Degree Murder.

A Boise man has been booked into the Ada County Jail on a felony count of first degree murder in connection with the death of his wife.

Police took 62-year-old Bruce Macomb to the jail this afternoon following his discharge from the hospital after being treated for injuries to his neck.

Boise Police said they found Macomb exiting a home on the 1600 block of West Warren Street on Thursday afternoon. The body of Macomb's wife was discovered inside the home.

While Boise Police detectives continue to probe the mysterious Feb. 18 death of a man, found with a bullet wound to the head following a possible road rage incident, law enforcement was called out to the scene of another death late Thursday in what could be the second homicide in less than a week.

Boise Police said they were called to perform a welfare check at a home near Warren Street and Lincoln Avenue. That's where they found the body of a woman.

Police said they also found another individual who had been injured. While the second individual was transported to a nearby hospital, police said the wounds were not life threatening.

Police said they are questioning a person of interest in the suspicious death investigation.
