Times-News: Idaho Man Accused of Battery, Shooting Arrows Near Child

A Twin Falls man is behind bars, charged with battery, after police said he shot arrows near where a child was sitting and then attacked the child's mother.

This morning's Twin Falls Times-News reports that 22-year-old Adam Newbry allegedly shot several arrows into a chair near where a young girl was sitting. When the child's mother confronted Newbry, who is not related to her, Newbry allegedly grabbed the mother by the neck and slammed her against a wall. Another woman at the scene confirmed the story for police and said she pulled Newbry off the first woman.

Newbry told police he grabbed the woman because she pointed one of the arrows at him.

Newbry's pretrial conference is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 26.
