Boise Police: Two Drug Busts, Three Arrests

Gypsie Akers, 28, is charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.

Boise Police report that two separate busts, within 24 hours, landed three Boise residents behind bars on drug charges.

Early this morning, law enforcement stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Vista Avenue and Elder Street after the driver of the car failed to signal a turn. Using a police K-9 named Turk, officers discovered meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the car.
Gypsie Akers, 28, was charged with meth possession with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Melanie Hawkins, 29, is charged with meth and drug paraphernalia possession.

Harry Huskinson, 53, is charged with meth possession and probation violation.

On Thursday, Boise Police assisted Idaho Probation and Parole agents in a search of a residence on the 5200 block of West Morris Hill Road. Officer recovered meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Melanie Hawkins, 29, and Harry Huskinson, 53, were charged with meth possession. Huskinson was also charged with violating probation.
