Boise Man Arrested for Using Fire Extinguisher as Weapon

A Boise man is behind bars, charged with using a fire extinguisher as a weapon.

Police were called out Wednesday to a residence on the 8500 block of West Fairview Avenue. That's where an adult male victim, a home health care provider, told police that the suspect intentionally broke a lamp, and when he was being escorted back to his residence, the suspect then used a fire extinguisher to strike the victim. The suspect also allegedly kicked and hit the victim several more times. The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital.

Bradin Bulen, 22, is charged with a felony count of aggravated battery and malicious injury to property.

Jammison Griffin, 40, is charged with felony DUI.

Police were also called out early this morning to a parking lot on the 1800 block of West Main Street. That's where multiple witnesses said a man who appeared to be very intoxicated backed his vehicle into a parked car. Police said the suspect failed several field sobriety tests and blew a 0.24 blood alcohol content. A check through Boise City Records indicated the suspect had prior DUI convictions.

Jammison Griffin, 40, of Boise is charged with a felony count of DUI.
