A Boise woman was locked up Dec. 10 for abandoning her infant with no food or diapers.
Law enforcement received a tip that 29-year-old Sara Ball had allegedly left her infant in a bedroom of a Boise home and then refused to pick up the child or provide for the child's needs. The infant has since been turned over to the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and Ball has been locked up on a felony charge of desertion or nonsupport of a child.
Additionally, Boise Police last night executed two felony warrants against a Boise couple for allowing their three children, including an infant, to live among animal feces, soiled diapers and rotting food. The home also didn't have any power or heat.
The children are in the custody of the state while 31-year-old Deric Stellman and 32-year-old Crystal Terry are both locked up, charged with felony counts of injury to a child.
