In fact, a pretty significant group—including Spickler, all three Nez Perce County commissioners, a private attorney hired by the commissioners, another lawyer from the Idaho Counties Risk Management Program in Boise, and an independent investigator hired by Nez Perce County—huddled in two separate meetings Friday to talk about Spickler and his bad taste in motivational techniques.
This morning's Lewiston Tribune reports that none of the attendees would comment about the meetings.
Spickler, who was re-elected on Nov. 6, reportedly held a team-building meeting where everyone was asked to bring a photo that showed something of themselves.
Spickler's choice? A photo of a young woman posed in front of a bunch of portable toilets, wearing a cropped T-shirt with the words "I Wish These Were Brains" written across her chest.
A grievance quickly followed.
Spicker sent out an email apologizing to the meeting attendees.
On Friday, Spickler would only say that "It's a personnel matter."
