Republican Idaho Rep. Judy Boyle, fresh off her re-election to the Idaho House, was robbed Monday at a Lewiston hotel.

This morning's Lewiston Tribune reports that Boyle told Lewiston Police that cash and debit cards were stolen from her purse at the Red Lion Hotel. Boyle said she left her purse at a table during an event while she went up to her hotel room. The purse was gone when she returned, but she found the purse later with $20 and her bank cards missing.

Boyle is part of a contingent of lawmakers that have descended on Lewiston this week for the 23rd North Idaho Legislative Tour. Lawmakers arrived on Monday, broke into separate groups, with some traveling to Orfino, Craigmont or the Port of Lewiston on Monday, and a jet boat tour of the Snake River wrapped up the events.
