The McCall Yacht Club Lounge, the scene of more than its share of nightlife, has been shuttered and its liquor license seized for nonpayment of sale taxes.

The McCall Star-News reports that the Yacht Club is expected to reopen under new ownership "in the next two to three weeks."

According to the report, the Idaho State Tax Commission slapped a lien on the Yacht Club's owners for $145,410 in unpaid taxes. Additionally, the liquor license was seized Oct. 30.

The owner, Lem Malone, would only tell the Star-News that his closing was "complicated" but confirmed that he was "closed for good."

Bob Hunt, who owns the building that housed The Yact Club, along with McCall's The Hunt Lodge, Super 8 and America's Best Value Inn and Suites, told the Star-News that he was hoping to have the liquor license transferred to him so that he could reopen the Yacht Club.

The former owners posted the following on the business' Facebook page:

"The Yacht Club wants to thank all the great customers and friends that helped support the Yacht Club for the years we were in business."
