Boise Police Blotter: Compulsive Shoplifting, Stolen Weapon, Lewd Conduct

Michael Mcdonnell, 18, is charged with burglary.

Employees of a retail store on the 2600 block of State Street told Boise Police that a suspected thief was bold enough to return for a five-finger discount on at least three occasions. The most recent incident, Thursday, resulted in 18-year-old Michael McDonnell of Boise being busted on two felony counts of burglary. In particular, store employees said McDonell was seen concealing cold medications on Nov. 3 and Nov. 6, before returning Thursday afternoon.

Tyler Hunsaker, 21, is charged with grand theft and driving without privileges.

Also Thursday, Boise Police said a loud muffler, which led to a traffic stop near Maple Grove Road and Woodhaven Court, resulted in a search of the vehicle, netting seizures of a stolen shotgun and a handgun. Police said the driver was also driving with a suspended license. Tyler Hunsaker, 21, of Boise was charged with driving without privileges and grand theft.

Boise Police also took three Boise residents into custody Thursday on outstanding felony warrants. An investigation into an incident that occurred at a Boise home in July led law enforcement to charge 21-year-old Christopher Hand of Boise with illegal sexual activity with a minor. Additionally, 32-year-old Carl Robison and 33-year-old Victoria Robinson were charged with providing alcohol to the minor prior to the sexual activity taking place.
