Employees of a retail store on the 2600 block of State Street told Boise Police that a suspected thief was bold enough to return for a five-finger discount on at least three occasions. The most recent incident, Thursday, resulted in 18-year-old Michael McDonnell of Boise being busted on two felony counts of burglary. In particular, store employees said McDonell was seen concealing cold medications on Nov. 3 and Nov. 6, before returning Thursday afternoon.
Also Thursday, Boise Police said a loud muffler, which led to a traffic stop near Maple Grove Road and Woodhaven Court, resulted in a search of the vehicle, netting seizures of a stolen shotgun and a handgun. Police said the driver was also driving with a suspended license. Tyler Hunsaker, 21, of Boise was charged with driving without privileges and grand theft.
