Following a year of construction and years of planning, Idaho's first Whole Foods will officially open its doors on Wednesday, Nov. 14, according to the company's local Facebook page.
Located at 401 S. Broadway Ave., Boise's outlet of the Austin-based grocery chain has been busy as crews began stocking shelves, installing signage and training more than 150 employees. Boise Weekly took a tour of the $13.4 million construction site last week, which gave readers a first look into the store's Idaho-specific decor, and an upstairs bar space called the River Room.
Customers are invited to tour the new store on Sunday, Nov. 11, and Monday Nov. 12, ahead of the store's official officially opening on Nov. 14.
