A Boise man is behind bars, facing a felony charge of video voyeurism.

Boise Police said they seized a small "pen" camera that a witness had removed from a bathroom at a residence on the 10000 block of West Countryman Drive, where a party was being held Saturday evening. The witness said digital files on the device indicated the suspect had been recording people using the restroom.

Officer said they obtained evidence that indicates the suspect had placed the camera intentionally.

Samuel Davidson, 32, of Boise is being held at the Ada County Jail after being picked up at his residence early Sunday.

Javier Mendoza, 28, is charged with aggravated battery

Also Sunday, Boise Police charged 28-year-old Javier Mendoza following an altercation at a bar on the 100 block of South Sixth Street.

Police said Mendoza threw a bottle of beer at a female who is known to him. The victim suffered a cut near her eye, and officer said they believed the injury may leave a scar.

Mendoza was booked on a felony charge of aggravated battery.
