The Ada County Coroner has identified the body of a man discovered Saturday on the bank of the New York Canal in South Ada County to be 48-year-old Chase Rhoady of Boise.
The death remains under investigation, but the coroner found no obvious signs of injury or foul play.

The Ada County Coroner is attempting to determine the cause of death of a man, in his 40s, found dead on the bank of the New York Canal in South Ada County on Saturday.
Ada County sheriff's deputies responded to a call of a person, walking a dog near the canal, who discovered the body west of a culdesac at the end of Maple Grove Road. Law enforcement said there appeared to be no obvious signs of trauma to the body. The body appeared not have been in the area very long.
Deputies said there was "no evidence or information at this point to suggest foul play."
