Crews from Boise's Parks and Recreation Department are closing off a section of the Boise River Greenbelt Monday, Oct. 22.
A project to stabilize the bank of a stretch of the Boise River near Veterans Memorial Parkway begins Monday, and is scheduled to take three weeks. During that time, the Greenbelt between Veterans Memorial bridge and the Lander Street Wastewater Treatment Facility will be closed until crews finish the project.
However, a detour map was released by Boise Parks and Rec, which asks users to rejoin the Greenbelt at North Lander Street.
