ORIGINAL POST July 25 9 a.m.

Prior to Mitt Romney's return visit to Idaho for a Sun Valley fundraiser Friday, Aug. 3, Vice President Joe Biden will be stumping for his boss, President Barack Obama, also in Sun Valley.

This morning's Idaho Mountain Express reports that Biden will attend a Thursday, Aug. 2, fundraiser, where attendees will shell out between $250-$50,000 to break bread with the vice president. A $2,500 ticket secures a photo with the veep. A $50,000 donation gets a bit more face time with Biden.

The Federal Election Commission reports that the Obama campaign has raised more than $280,000 in Idaho during the 2012 campaign, compared to close to 1 million Idaho dollars for the Romney campaign.
