Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, whose campaign initially indicated that he would be coming to Idaho this week, has decided instead to attend a fundraiser Friday, Aug. 3, in Sun Valley.
This morning's Idaho Mountain Express reports that Romney's event, at an as-yet undisclosed location, will charge $1,000 to get in the door. The campaign usually charges an additional $2,500 for a photograph.
"We're super-excited to have him back in Idaho," Travis Hawkes, state finance chairman for the Romney campaign told the Mountain Express. "One thing that is exciting about Mitt when it comes to Idaho is that he's been here a lot and understands it well."
Romney spent Thursday in Jackson, Wyo., where former Vice President Dick Cheney hosted another fundraiser.
