The Idaho Education Association's political action committee may be feeding the politician who bit its hand.
This morning's Twin Falls Times-News reports that IEA's PAC is endorsing Republican Rep. Mike Simpson in his re-election bid against Democratic challenger Nicole LeFavour. The Times-News also reports that Simpson's own political action committee pumped cash into the 2010 political campaign of Idaho Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Luna, whose education reforms the IEA opposes.
The Times-News reports that the IEA's PAC makes recommendations for endorsements to the National Education Association, and the NEA, in turn, chose Simpson. This year is Simpson's sixth endorsement from the group.
