Occupy Boise wants to occupy the intersections this Friday.

As part of a spin-off initiative, Occupy Black Friday, encouraging consumers to buy local, the Occupy Boise movement will be moving toward some of the Treasure Valley's busiest thoroughfares, and while they don't plan to block intersections, the group is hoping to have a presence on corners near the crosswalks. The occupiers are hoping to be out in force from 7-9 a.m. and again from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

The initial list of intersections includes:
Ninth and Front streets
13th and Front streets
Capitol Boulevard and Front Street
Glenwood and State streets
Franklin Boulevard and Milwaukee Avenue
Curtis Road and Fairview Avenue
Eagle Road and Fairview Avenue
Chinden Boulevard and Eagle Road
Chinden Boulevard and Glenwood Street
Cole and Overland roads
