It's not much of a holiday weekend at the Idaho Statehouse, where the Idaho Redistricting Commission continues to work toward an agreeable plan that would slice up the Gem State's legislative and congressional districts. The commission is quickly running out of days. Its presumed deadline is Tuesday at 5 p.m.
But Republican and Democratic members of the commission (there are three representing each party) haven't agreed on much of anything. Plan after plan has been shot down along party lines. Right now, the weekend's agenda includes a session today, Sunday and again on Monday morning.
