Recently, unemployment figures indicated a drop to 9.4 percent nationally, but an increase to 9.5 percent in Idaho. With that as a backdrop, National Public Radio turned to Josh McKenna of the Idaho Department of Labor on Thursday afternoon to talk about the ins and outs of collecting unemployment.
McKenna was a guest on NPR's "Talk of the Nation," heard on Boise Public Radio. McKenna joined Andrew Strettner of the National Employment Law Project to talk about misconceptions in the process of getting jobless benefits.
