In the never-ending saga that is Tamarack, a federal bankruptcy judge in Boise ruled on Friday, April 9 that the embattled resort can switch its Chapter 7 bankruptcy to a Chapter 11.

The change means the resort owners have the chance to reorganize their debt, work with creditors to change the terms of their loans and avoid selling off assets to pay its bills.

Of course, if Tamarack fails to pay up, the judge's decision can always be reversed.
