Multiple locations (Boise Downtown and Fringe)
Two trucks frequenting four locations serve Mexican fare. For lunch, you’ll find it at State and Sixth streets and at 12th and Bannock streets. At night, both trucks are parked just off Sixth Street, one behind the old Boise Rescue Mission and a second in the parking lot behind China Blue.
Espy says... Let me tell you that their tacos and burritos are BOMB! We are always there after a couple of drinks to get a snack and in fact, drive from Nampa to Boise just for their delicious tacos. AMAZING!!! ★★★★★
Abe Thietten says... Their Chipotle burrito is excellent and it must weight 2 pounds! ★★★★★
Just Another John Smith says... I'm going to get another fajita burrito right now. Completely delicious! ★★★★★
The owners of the Azteca food truck--often parked near Sixth and Grove streets downtown--refer to it as the "Chilango." However, fans of the hexagon-shaped burrito call it the "UFO burrito" for its flying saucer-like shape. The recipe is similar to the fast-food abomination the "Crunchwrap Supreme," but the Azteca version is larger, packs more beef and uses real cheese instead of cheese sauce. A crunchy taco shell provides crucial architecture in the middle of the foodstuff.
