Ballet Idaho Gives Tickets to Military Families

If you don't think of "the ballet" and "the military" as belonging in the same sentence, Ballet Idaho might want you to think again.

In the spirit of the season and caring for those whose loved ones are far from home and its comforts, Ballet Idaho will give away 180 tickets to military families for the December 9 performance of The Nutcracker. Donation of the tickets was made possible by contributions from Dr. Christian Zimmerman and John and Joan H. Carley.

Family members of military personnel may request tickets for the performance by contacting the Family Support Center at Gowen Field, Building 920, or calling 422-4361. Those who might be interested in donating additional tickets for families of military personnel should send donations to Ballet Idaho, 501 S. 8th St., Suite A, Boise, ID 83702, or by calling 343-0556.
