I ventured to the old location in a forgotten corner of downtown a few years back and was sorely disappointed. I tend to judge a gaming store on three things: range of products, open gaming area, friendly and knowledgable staff. Each of those is twice as important as the one before.

The old location had a small but broad range of products, a large open gaming area... but the staff behind the counter flat out told us he didn't like most things about his job, the management, or most games today.

That was then, this is now.
The new location at the Overland Park shopping center is bright, stocked to the gills with as wide a range of products as any raging game addict could hope for, and the staff knows their games and most seem to enjoy spreading the love they feel for the hobby. This is near perfection to me. Their gaming area is a nice size and the store even allows you to use their own terrain for miniatures or roleplaying games, a great bonus.

Regular contests and competitions make this a store to constantly return to. If only they would get their website up and running with a calendar of events, it would make a perfect five.
