A north Idaho man has been banned from attending high-school sporting events in Washington's Tri-State area—but that's the least of his worries.
The Tri-City Herald reports that prosecutors are recommending a sentence of anywhere from two months to three months behind bars after 31-year-old Jeffrey Gravelle of Bonners Ferry admitted to driving hours just to watch young cheerleaders, and in some instances, grabbing them from behind. Gravelle pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation and voyeurism after he was caught loitering, taking videos of cheerleaders, and all-around bad behavior.
Gravelle admitted to what he called "a sexual problem for the last 15 years" when he was arrested by Benton County law enforcement, and was even willing to drive several hours at a time just to watch high-school cheerleaders.
His sentencing is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 6.
